
ACCA Foundations in Accountancy (FIA)
ACCA’s Foundations in Accountancy (FIA) is a group of qualifications designed to give learners a solid understanding of the fundamentals of financial management and financial reporting, enabling them to confidently speak the language of business.
FIA is ideal for students with no formal accounting background and provides a clear pathway from entry-level accounting knowledge up to the equivalent of the first year of a bachelor’s degree. The programme starts at Level 2 (GCSE or equivalent) and progresses to Level 4.

- Recommended to start at Level 2 if you have no formal qualifications
- Duration: Minimum 1 year
- Exam Month: Computer Based Exams (CBEs) available throughout the year
